The traditional and generally safe option is of the great Pinots, either Noir or Gris. Noir being a bit heavier body would carry the ham selection better. But either are very good options. If one feels a bit more adventuresome, why not something entirely different? Let's consider Cranberry Wine. Our Cranberry is 100% fermented Cranberries and with it's sweet yet tart sides goes very well with either ham or turkey. Consider we have, as an integral part of past Thanksgiving dinners, Cranberry sauce, why not extend the thought to Cranberry wine. Surprise your family and friends with "something entirely different" this year, then let us know how it went and we'll share it.
May your Thanksgiving be a blessed, thanking the One who has given us everything.
